Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced ER Registered Nurse leader for Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center! Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses.
Full Time, Night shift (7p-7a) available with weekend rotations. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

ER Unit Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit,
- Embraces; uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools.
- Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes
- Role model who leads by example in delivering Service Always and in making Patient Experience a priority on unit(s) of responsibility.

ER Unit Supervisor Requirements:
- Requires at least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience
- More than 2 years of Registered Nurse Clinical Experience specific to the focus of nursing unit preferred
- Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN
- BSN or MSN preferred
- BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
