RN Sepsis Coordinator
Inova Health System’s Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a RN Sepsis Coordinator. This role is full-time, M-F.

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Sepsis Coordinator provides therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Supports the clinical management of patient care delivery areas by using current best practices which produce quality patient care with optimal patient outcomes. Plans, implements, monitors and evaluates care delivery for patients with sepsis while identifying and integrating patients' learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn into plans of care. Utilizes standards, guidelines, pathways and evidence based practice for sepsis identification and care delivery, while incorporating data, analytics and electronic health records to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Acts as a consultant and subject matter expert in the clinical setting by maintaining and promoting standards of care and having respect for and an understanding of the contributions of all team members. Requirements:
- Hours: full-time, M-F
- Location: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Must have 16 hours in specialized sepsis education
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care, including one year of quality performance improvement experience
- Licensure/Certifications: Registered Nurse License in the Commonwealth of Virginia; BLS from the American Heart Association
