Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a full-time Rapid Response RN for our night shift opening.
Full time- 3 x 12-hour shifts (night shift 7pm-7am) (Must be available to orient during daytime hours).
Sign-on bonus and Relocation bonus!
The Rapid Response Nurse ensures patient safety by escalating issues, following standard processes, maintaining equipment and using evidence-based practice techniques. Keeps patients, families, and hospital team informed of updates. Responds to RRT Code calls promptly while assessing patients' conditions as observed/reported by nurses. Implements measures for immediate stabilization when necessary.

Rapid Response RN Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a critical care or emergency room nurse
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has Associates Degree (ADN); must completed BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS required (American Heart Association)
- Certified Emergency Nurse or CCRN certification within six months from date of hire.
- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse Experience.
