VARN Updates Fall 2017

The VARN conference held in Ruckersville, Va in June was very well received by all that were able to attend. "The Crash: Before, During, and After" was coordinated using Eventbrite, our first attempt at electronic registration was successful and will be used as a registration option for other upcoming events. The reviews and comments from attendees were excellent and all of the speakers were very well received. The full detail of the summary review is available HERE.

VARN held a board meeting on August 18th in Goochland, Va. Thanks again to Brenda French for hosting a very enjoyable and productive meeting. The Board awarded the following members with the Jeanne Gant Memorial Scholarship:

• Tracy Meyer,
• Alice Webley,
• Elsa White,
• Wayne Campbell
• Brenda French. 

Each member received $600 toward their costs to attend ARN REACH in Seattle this November.

VARN recently sent a survey to all members-please respond to have your voice heard for planning in 2018. The link is available HERE

Elections will be in May of 2018. New officers will be elected to the Board and will serve a 2 year term. Please reach out to members and the Board with names of those interested and willing to be more involved with VARN BOD. Any questions please contact a current Board member.
